Spiced Chai Latte
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Five Roses teabags
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 star anise
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks
- 4 cups boiling water
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp honey
- ¼ cup hot milk, frothed
METHOD
Using a pot over medium heat, stir together all the ingredients except the honey and milk. Simmer for 5 minutes and then pour into a coffee press. Gently depress the plunger to strain the tea. (Alternatively, pour the tea from the pot through a sieve to strain it.)
Pour into 4 mugs and stir in honey to taste. Add the hot milk, carefully spooning the froth onto the top of each mug to serve.
